Evan Cook
is a leader, coach and advocate for youth in the City of Federal Way. On a mission to serve he founded Restoring Mindz LLC, a multi faceted company that includes public speaking, policy and program development as well as firearm safety.
His mission is to rebuild this world through service and inspiration helping youth and young adults find their purpose in life.
Through challenging and developing policy he co-founded the The Federal Way Black Collective.
Sent to Federal Way, Washington after time in the juvenile justice system in Oklahoma City. he graduated from Todd Beamer High School in 2008 and then went on to attend Eastern Washington University to play football under head coach Beau Baldwin. In his time as an Eagle he played defensive line on a team that won 2 Conference Championships and a National Championship in 2010.
He graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology and was hired by Eastern Washington University Campus Police. As an officer he served for nearly two years before resigning to pursue a career as a public speaker, mentor and author. He has worked in the non profit sector for the past decade and holds a Masters from the University of Washington Evans School in Public Policy & Governance.
Through his public service he has found his passion in coaching and teaching how to advocate while restoring the education of youth in Federal Way.
